OneArt Journal
OneArt project is using the online Internet journal OneArt – Journal of Contemporary Asian, African and Latin American Art and Humanities as a supporting information medium. The journal’s themes are identical with the themes of the gallery curatorial programme, thus the content of the journal includes article and artists’ presentations.
The journal was constructed as an interdisciplinary forum for theorists and art historians opened to the public in order to arrive at the new perspectives and broad debate about the individual topics. OneArt project uses the journal to publish articles, essays, interviews in new contexts and relations to the humanities in general We give a special attention to the visual presentations of the featured artists. We firmly believe that the publication of the journal is crucial for providing the information about the Non-Euroamerican art which is currently severely unavailable to the public. We also wish to provide an opportunity for publication to the specialists and artists who deal with issues related to the non-Euroamerican cultural realm.
Individual issues will focus on a central theme reflecting current debates on art and culture. Academic writing published by OneArt will be peer reviewed. We are a non-profit magazine which seeks support from private as well as public funds. We publish in English, but we may include articles in other languages.
