Matthew Hindley

Matthew Hindley graduated at the Michaelis School of Fine Art in Cape Town in 2002, where his final exhibition won him the Michaelis Prize. Recent solo shows include, An Everlasting Once (2011) at iArt Gallery (now Brundyn + Gonsalves) and Like, like, like, like a circus (2009) at iArt Gallery Wembley project space. Hindley has exhibited both locally and abroad including presentations at Biksady, Budapest (2013) and the new Eli and Eydthe Broad Museum, Michigan (2012).

Payam Mofidi is an Iranian Painter and Animation Filmmaker born in 1980 Tehran, Iran. He has graduated with BA in Graphic Design in 2005 from Azad University Tehran he also received his degree with honors from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Paris in 2009. Mofidi has shown his works internationally in a great number of festivals and group exhibitions over the years and He has won Jury’s special prize from “Rythmetic” International Festival in 2010.

Sanjeev Maharjan is a freelance visual artist based in Kathmandu. He was graduated from Kathmandu University Center for Art and Design in 2009. Since then he had participated in group exhibitions, several art wrokshops and art projects. Maharjan worked as artist in residency in Kathmandu Contemporary Art Center for six month and had a show with another fellow artist in residency Sunita Maharjan.

Born in 1983, in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Completed his study at MFA, Graduate Institute of Plastic Arts, Tainan National University of The Arts in 2010. His major solo exhibitions include The Burglar of Visual Signals: An Adventure Beyond Boundaries (Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts, Kaohsiung, 2011).

Odili Donald Odita

Odili Donald Odita
Born in 1966, Enugu, Nigeria.
Lives and works in Philadelphia, USA

Born in Nigeria and raised in the U.S., Odita became known for Noland-ish paintings that adopted the palette of his African heritage (landscape or textiles), and in the gallery's press release he says the current works continue his exploration of black in both color and sociopolitical senses.

Annysa Ng

Annysa Ng

Lives and works in Hong Kong and New York.

She studied fine art at Staatliche Akademie der Bildenen Künste in Germany and School of Visual Arts in New York. She was awarded Manhattan Community Arts Fund, 2009/10 Fellowship recipient from the Urban Artist Initiative/NYC, Osaka Governor Prize by Nippon Modern Fine Arts Association, Fellowship at National Academy in NY, and Residency at Egon Schiele Art Centrum in Czech Republic.

Applying traditional Western printmaking techniques to traditional Korean aesthetics, she spends each morning searching for images on the Internet. This half-conscious morning state has been likened to the automaton-like state of stream of consciousnesses, and allows her to “identify my position within the world and makes me reflect back to my delicate existence in the ephemeral dreams of everyday life,” explains Lee.

I have been working with many mediums to represent my thoughts and feelings since my artistic career was started. The subject matters in my work involve socio-political crisis of my country as well as the Globe and different incidents of my own life. I live in Pokhara, the beautiful silent place near Himalayas, but I am aware of the present situation of my own society as well as the world.

Hani Zurob

Hani Zurob
Born in 1976, Rafah, Palestine
Lives and works in Paris, France

In 1994 he left to Nablus where he achieved his studies in Fine Arts (1999). He then settled in Ramallah until 2006. In 2006 Zurob got a grant that allowed him to reside at the Cité internationale des Arts in Paris. Since then, he held different solo shows in Paris, Atlanta, Marrakech and Dubai. He has also participated in several group exhibitions and artistic events such as: Le Corps découvert, Contemporary Arab art, Institut du Monde Arabe (IMA), Paris (2012), Palestine: La création dans tous ses états held at the Arab World Institute in Paris (2009) and then at the National Museum of Bahrain (2009)
