This series is based on the idea of the city as a dark and dead forest. I used old photographs of disguised little children by José M. Silva, who became famous since he did Gardel's portraits. These children seem vulnerable and lonely in front of these cities surrounded by darkness. In one of the collages I used images from ancient catechism posters mixed with Julian Opie's buildings. A virtuous man who asked his mother not to worry because he will act as a saint is welcomed to the city by an angel. On the left we can see a troubled man leaving the same city with the devil chained to his legs and the angel is crying.
