Artist statement:
My work starts from where I have been situated in my art-practice and traditional Indian sculpture family background as a middle class Indian, looking for the borders where media, objects, and images are incessantly susceptible to instability.
Kieron Jina
Kieron Jina, originally from Durban, South Africa, is a professional freelance screen-dance filmmaker, performer, lecturer/teacher, facilitator, dancer, choreographer, activist, director, cinematographer and video editor. As a choreographer and performer he has worked within physical theatre and contemporary dance. He is perhaps best recognised for his solo choreographic creations Facing Shadows, Infectious, Sin and Homodryer. Jina recently completed a tour of his solo work in Africa and Europe.

Mireille Astore (Beirut, 1961) (Arabic: ميراي استور) is an artist and a writer. She left Beirut during the Lebanese civil war in 1975 to live in Melbourne, Australia. She studied the Sciences at the University of Melbourne where she graduated before becoming a full-time artist and writer. Influenced by Continental Philosophy, her art draws on autobiographical notions of representation and the unheimlich; where the conscious intersects with the unconscious. Through her art and her writing she "explores human emotions" and "asks what it is to be human".
