An artist and designer, interested in social issues and behaviour changes. I choose art as my medium of expression because the universal values contained inside are able to penetrate the boundaries of culture, language and areas of personal or collective that are often too conservative and routine. Art is able to provide the bridge from the creator’s mind to the phenomena of life in more open. I always want to build the bridge step by step and look for new territories that need to be explored by the creativity, because art plays a role in the formulation of sciences so that the applications are able to offer unimaginable ideas to civilization before.
Therefore, I often make social campaign independently, through communicative strategy and playful visual arts approach. Because with fun activities, art would be able to touch the emotions especially when it is able to engage the public directly into the creative process so that it could provide a real experience. Collaboration can make changes to a fun and positive emotions for me or the audience.
My art spirit purely emerged from the focus on direct observation to discover the essential ideas and then insert it into the collective memories. In practice, I choose public space as a potential independent field. Besides public space freed from distortion of exclusive art, I have seen a lot of local issues in the context of a global phenomenon which can be traced from the habits of the people and the situation of the corners of public space. My vision is to transform the problem of the specific area into a paradox game mechanism; Knowing as well as questioning.
