Kambiz Sabri was born on April 18, 1967 in Kashan and grew up in Shahroud. He became familiar with the arts during his childhood at the "Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults", where he learned painting. However, the years of his youth however did not prove prosperous ones for the arts in general in the country.

Ali Banisadr was born in Tehran in 1976 and moved to California with his family when he was a child. Banisadr once remarked that his childhood memories, notably of the Islamic revolution and the brutal Iran-Iraq war, were a mix of images, half abstract and the other half with recognizable forms. Present in all of his works is a sense of sound and movement that is due to the way in which Banisadr condenses his imagery, and chooses a wide range of colours to bring his subject to life.

Inspired by his father an architect and strongly encouraged by his mother, Nima pursued the arts from a young age, and at the age of 14 was admitted into Teheran´s Conservatory of Fine Arts. In the presence of masters such as Manuchehr Mo´tabar, Reza Imani, and his mentor Ahmad Vakili, Nima focused his attention on traditional Persian and Oriental painting. Later, he attendet the Tarbiat Modarres University of Arts, where he began experimenting with the sculpture, which greatly influenced his painting style.

Taravat Talepasand, born in 1979 in the United States, retained close family and artistic ties to Iran, Esfehan, where she was trained in the challenging discipline of Persian miniature painting. Paying close attention to the cultural taboos identified by distinctly different social groups, particularly those of gender, race and socioeconomic position, her work reflects the cross-pollination, or lack thereof, in our “modern” society.

Hadi Tabatabai was born in Mashhad, Iran, in 1964. He immigrated to the United States in 1977 with his family, settling in California. Tabatabai received a BS in industrial technology from California State University Fresno in 1985 and a BFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1995.
Tabatabai's work has been shown in London, Turin, Bonn, and widely in the United States. He has had solo exhibitions at the Anthony Grant Gallery in New York, Brian Gross Fine Art and Stephen Wirtz Gallery in San Francisco, and Inde/Jacobs in Marfa, Texas.
