Spindled is a group of sculptures and constructions made from spindled pieces of American colonial and other era woods - re-salvaged from porches, balustrades, and furniture. Bittar slices the spindles into slim pieces that are connected to each other from spindled wood from Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Iran. The smaller turned woods remain intact and become connectors for the other parts.
